Phillip Lindsay Returning After Three-Week Absence
Phillip Lindsay (toe) practiced in full all week and was taken off the final injury report for Week 5 against the Patriots on Monday. Lindsay said his toe feels 100 percent. Melvin Gordon III remains the team's lead back, but Lindsay should eventually cut into his workload. The Broncos could ease Lindsay back into things after missing three games with his turf toe injury, which will make him more of an RB4/flex in deeper leagues. There will be more targets in the passing game open with tight end Noah Fant (ankle) out this week, but the Patriots Defense has been stingy to the running back position so far in 2020, allowing only 144 receiving yards and one score to the position.
