4 years agoThe New England Patriots re-signed kicker Nick Folk to a one-year, $1.62 million deal. The deal has a maximum value of $2.5 million. Folk made 26 of his 28 field-goal tries and 30 of his 33 extra points for the Patriots last year. His 108 total points were the most that he had recorded in a single season since 2016. The veteran has been a stabilizing force in the team's kicking game since they parted ways with Stephen Gostkowski. The 36-year-old Folk was 13-for-13 on kicks inside of 40 yards. While New England's offense should be improved with the additions of Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne, Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry, Folk will be probably be left to the waiver wire to begin the year in the majority of leagues.
