2 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom is not in the team's starting lineup on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. Wisdom will get a breather in the series finale and should be back in the lineup on Monday for the start of a series against the Seattle Mariners at Wrigley Field. The 31-year-old has hit very well in the early going for the Cubbies, batting .348 (8-for-23) with two doubles, three home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored in six games played. With Wisdom starting on the bench on Sunday, Nick Madrigal is getting the start at third base and is hitting eighth against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray. Madrigal is also off to a solid start offensively, going 3-for-10 with a double and two runs scored in his first four games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
