Parker Meadows Begins Running Progression
Parker Meadows (quad) has begun a running progression in his rehab from a right quad strain. The Tigers placed Meadows on the IL on July 28, and it is a good sign for him to be running already. The 25-year-old missed time earlier in the year with a nerve issue in his throwing arm and has been limited to 38 games this season. He is slashing .200/.270/296, with only two home runs and three stolen bases. Fantasy managers in deep leagues can continue to stash Meadows as he will likely return sometime in August. Matt Vierling has been starting in centerfield for the Tigers and should continue to see an uptick in at-bats with Meadows sidelined.
