5 years agoThe Carolina Panthers placed defensive lineman Kawann Short (shoulder) on season-ending Injured Reserve on Tuesday with a partially torn rotator cuff that he suffered in Week 2 against the Buccaneers. In a corresponding move, the team signed defensive lineman Bryan Cox from the practice squad. Short is a two-time Pro Bowler and had four tackles in two games this year. Losing the second-round pick is surely a blow to this Panthers Defense moving forward. Still, they'll be a low-end streaming option in Week 5 against a run-first Jaguars offense at home.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
