The Carolina Panthers signed former Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Morgan Fox to a two-year, $8.1 million deal. Fox will receive $7 million guaranteed. Fox broke out with six sacks in 2020 for the Rams despite being a rotational player at defensive end for a strong Rams defense. He often subbed in for Michael Brockers on the defensive line, playing just 39 percent of the snaps. But Fox still recorded 27 tackles, nine QB hits and eight tackles for loss in addition to his six sacks. Los Angeles will surely be in line for defensive line help after losing both Fox and Brockers. A'Shawn Robinson could fill the void at defensive end, but he's not much of a pass-rusher.
