Chiefs To Face Cowboys On Thanksgiving Day
The National Football League announced on Wednesday that the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys for a Thanksgiving Day showdown on Nov. 27. The following month, the Chiefs will host the division-rival Denver Broncos on Christmas night. Kansas City and Dallas last played each other in November of 2021, with the Chiefs winning 19-9 after the KC defense shut down a Cowboys offense that ranked first in the league entering the game. This will be the first time that the Chiefs have played on Thanksgiving Day since 2006. They will be looking to bounce back in 2025 after being dominated by the Philadelphia in the Super Bowl in February as they looked for their third straight Super Bowl title. Meanwhile, Dallas is trying to make the playoffs again after a disappointing 2024 campaign that included quarterbackPackers-Lions To Face Each Other In Week 1
Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers will open the 2025 regular season at home at Lambeau Field against NFC North rival Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Sept. 7, sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Believe it or not, this will be the first time in head coach Matt LaFleur's tenure that the Packers have had a home game in Week 1. They haven't opened the season at Lambeau since 2018. The two division rivals will square off for a second time in 2025 at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions are the two-time defending NFC North champions and went 15-2 last year before suffering a shocking upset loss to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round. From 1992-2014, the Packers won 24 straight home games against Detroit, including a playoff victory. However, the Lions have won the last three games in Green Bay.

Commanders-Dolphins To Square Off In Spain In 2025
Jayden Daniels played well above expectations in his rookie campaign in 2024 and surprisingly led the team to an NFC Championship appearance in his first season. The Dolphins disappointed and did not make the postseason in 2024, but if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, Miami still has one of the best one-two punches at wide receiver in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Needless to say, fantasy managers will probably have a a lot of skin in this game in Spain.

Eagles-Cowboys To Kick Off 2025 Season
Jalen Hurts and All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley will look to get things started on the right foot in defense of their Super Bowl title in Brian Schottenheimer's first game as the head coach for Dallas. The Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott, who is coming off a torn hamstring in 2024, will also be looking to start out strong after going a disappointing 7-10 last year and missing the playoffs.

Spencer Shrader The Favorite To Win Colts Kicking Job
Spencer Shrader is the favorite to win the team's starting placekicking duties for 2025. Last season, Shrader kicked for the Colts in Week 1 due to an injury to Matt Gay. The Colts released Gay this offseason and brought Shrader back. He will compete with undrafted free-agent kicker Maddux Trujillo out of Temple, but it is "his job to lose." Shrader went undrafted last offseason out of Notre Dame and kicked in one game for the Colts, one game for the New York Jets, and two games for the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, he made all five of his field goal attempts and was a perfect nine-for-nine on extra point tries. Gay attempted the seventh-most field goals last season for Indy, so Shrader could find his way on the fantasy football radar in 2025.

Justin Tucker Released By Baltimore
Justin Tucker in an official statement on X. Amid allegations of potential misconduct, the thirteen-year pro is out in Baltimore. The 35-year-old is currently still the league's most accurate kicker, though Kansas City's Harrison Butker is hot on his heels and could overtake him. Before 2024, Tucker was seemingly a shoo-in for best kicker in fantasy, but things took a turn with the news of allegations against him. Never falling under an 82.3% success rate in a given season, his production cratered last year -- setting career-lows in makes and attempts (22-for-30) while missing two extra-point attempts for the first time since 2019. It's unclear what the outcome will be regarding his legal issues, nor if he'll find a job with another NFL team. It's an unfortunate instance that tarnishes a fantastic career.

Justin Tucker Has Been Working Out At Team Facilities
Justin Tucker has been in the team's building and has been working out. From the coaching end, Harbaugh said all kicking decisions regarding Tucker and rookie Tyler Loop will be based purely on football since the team is still waiting on the results of the league's investigation of Tucker. The 35-year-old veteran's career and tenure with Baltimore hangs in the balance this offseason due to numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. In addition to that off-the-field issue hanging over his head, Tucker hasn't been the elite kicker we're used to seeing in the last couple of seasons. The seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro made a career-low 73.3% of his 30 field-goal attempts in 17 regular-season games in 2024. Even if he sticks with the Ravens, a lengthy suspension could be coming his way in 2025.

Matt Gays Signs One-Year Deal With Commanders
Matt Gay signed a one-year deal worth over $4.25 million fully guaranteed with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday, according to his agents. It's the most fully guaranteed money for a kicker on a one-year deal in NFL history. Gay can earn up to $5 million with reachable incentives in 2025 in D.C. In a corresponding move, the Commanders are releasing kicker Zane Gonzalez. In a Commanders offense that ranked fifth in the NFL in points per game (28.5), Gay should immediately be in play as a lower-end fantasy kicking option for the 2025 season. The 31-year-old booter went 31-for-37 (83.8%) on his field-goal tries in 16 games with the Indianapolis Colts last year, but he made just three of nine attempts from 50-plus yards out. He was a perfect 33-for-33 on extra points and has made 85.5% of his 193 career field-goal attempts in six years in the NFL.

Sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz that several teams that are picking in the high 30s and 40s are calling the Cleveland Browns (No. 33 overall), Houston Texans (No. 34) and Tennessee Titans (No. 35) about potential trades to try and come up early into the second round of this year's NFL draft on Friday. Wide receiver and edge rusher are viewed as two positions as having big drop-offs in talent and a wide range of evaluations, which is why those two positions are expected to be targeted by teams early in the second round. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah thinks that Iowa State receivers
