The National Football League announced on Wednesday that the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys for a Thanksgiving Day showdown on Nov. 27. The following month, the Chiefs will host the division-rival Denver Broncos on Christmas night. Kansas City and Dallas last played each other in November of 2021, with the Chiefs winning 19-9 after the KC defense shut down a Cowboys offense that ranked first in the league entering the game. This will be the first time that the Chiefs have played on Thanksgiving Day since 2006. They will be looking to bounce back in 2025 after being dominated by the Philadelphia in the Super Bowl in February as they looked for their third straight Super Bowl title. Meanwhile, Dallas is trying to make the playoffs again after a disappointing 2024 campaign that included quarterback Dak Prescott suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.--Keith Hernandez

Quarterback Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers will open the 2025 regular season at home at Lambeau Field against NFC North rival Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Sept. 7, sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Believe it or not, this will be the first time in head coach Matt LaFleur's tenure that the Packers have had a home game in Week 1. They haven't opened the season at Lambeau since 2018. The two division rivals will square off for a second time in 2025 at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions are the two-time defending NFC North champions and went 15-2 last year before suffering a shocking upset loss to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round. From 1992-2014, the Packers won 24 straight home games against Detroit, including a playoff victory. However, the Lions have won the last three games in Green Bay.--Keith Hernandez

The Washington Commanders announced on Tuesday that they will square off against the Miami Dolphins in the league's first-even game in Spain in Madrid in Week 11 on Nov. 16 at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. It will be the final game of the 2025 international NFL slate, and it could be a high-scoring affair between two teams with above-average offenses. Quarterback Jayden Daniels played well above expectations in his rookie campaign in 2024 and surprisingly led the team to an NFC Championship appearance in his first season. The Dolphins disappointed and did not make the postseason in 2024, but if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, Miami still has one of the best one-two punches at wide receiver in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Needless to say, fantasy managers will probably have a a lot of skin in this game in Spain.--Keith Hernandez

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Minnesota Vikings will become the first NFL team to play in back-to-back international games in 2025 in different countries, facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first-ever regular-season NFL game in Dublin, Ireland, on Sept. 28. The Vikings will then travel to London, England, to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Oct. 5. Minnesota will be the road team for both international games. In four previous regular-season games in London, the Vikings have won all four, including last year's win over the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The international games for Minnesota will keep them from playing at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, where they've never won, and in Cleveland, where they have one win since 1989.--Keith Hernandez

The Denver Broncos will travel to Kansas City to face the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day in 2025 on Prime Video in Week 17. The game could come with plenty of playoff implications late in the season. The Chiefs have dominated the AFC West in the last decade, winning nine straight division titles from 2016 to 2026, but the Broncos are looking to change that this year with head coach Sean Payton and second-year quarterback Bo Nix, who led the team to the postseason in 2024 for the first time since 2015. The Chiefs narrowly beat the Broncos in Kansas City a year ago on a blocked field goal before the Broncos beat KC in a blowout in the Week 18 regular-season finale when the Chiefs rested all of their starters before the playoffs.--Keith Hernandez

The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are set to face off in a divisional showdown in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this fall on Friday, Sept. 5, according to Front Office Sports' Eric Fisher. The NFL is closing in on a deal with YouTube to have the game streamed for free, with the game likely to set new a new streaming record. The game will pit rising young quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert against each other in an intriguing divisional battle early in the season. The Chiefs are looking to bounce back after being dismantled in the Super Bowl by the Philadelphia Eagles, while the Chargers will be hoping to get the bad taste out of their mouth from their early-round playoff loss to the Houston Texans.--Keith Hernandez

The NFL announced on Monday that the defending Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys will square off to open the 2025 regular season this fall in Week 1 on Thursday Night Football on Sept. 4. The Eagles and quarterback Jalen Hurts and All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley will look to get things started on the right foot in defense of their Super Bowl title in Brian Schottenheimer's first game as the head coach for Dallas. The Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott, who is coming off a torn hamstring in 2024, will also be looking to start out strong after going a disappointing 7-10 last year and missing the playoffs.--Keith Hernandez

According to James Boyd of The Athletic, Spencer Shrader is the favorite to win the team's starting placekicking duties for 2025. Last season, Shrader kicked for the Colts in Week 1 due to an injury to Matt Gay. The Colts released Gay this offseason and brought Shrader back. He will compete with undrafted free-agent kicker Maddux Trujillo out of Temple, but it is "his job to lose." Shrader went undrafted last offseason out of Notre Dame and kicked in one game for the Colts, one game for the New York Jets, and two games for the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, he made all five of his field goal attempts and was a perfect nine-for-nine on extra point tries. Gay attempted the seventh-most field goals last season for Indy, so Shrader could find his way on the fantasy football radar in 2025.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

The players they added are as follows: wide receiver Jahmal Banks (Nebraska), outside linebacker Diwun Black (Temple), offensive tackle Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan (Oregon State), wide receiver Xavier Guillory (Arizona State), inside linebacker Jay Higgins (Iowa), guard Reid Holskey (Miami of Ohio), offensive tackle Ozzie Hutchinson (Albany), safety Desmond Igbinosun (Rutgers), safety Keondre Jackson (Illinois State), defensive tackle Jayson Jones (Auburn), cornerback Reuben Lowery (Tennessee-Chattanooga), running back Marcus Major (Minnesota), inside linebacker Chandler Martin (Memphis), running back Sone Ntoh (Monmouth), guard Jared Penning (Northern Iowa), tight end Sam Pitz (Minnesota-Duluth), and cornerback Marquise Robinson (Arkansas).--Keith Hernandez

The Kansas City Chiefs signed 16 undrafted rookie free agents after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL draft last month. The names they added were wide receiver Elijhah Badger (Florida), tight end Jake Briningstool (Clemson), safety Will Brooks (Tennessee), offensive lineman Dalton Cooper (Oklahoma State), cornerback Jacobe Covington (USC), punter Eddie Czaplicki (USC), wide receiver Mac Dalena (Fresno State), linebacker Brandon George (Pittsburgh), defensive tackle Coziah Izzard (Penn State), cornerback Kevin Knowles (Florida State), wide receiver Justin Lockhart (San Jose State), defensive back Glendon Miller (Maryland), offensive tackle Esa Pole (Washington State), cornerback Melvin Smith Jr. (Southern Arkansas), tight end Tre Watson (Texas A&M) and running back Elijah Young (Western Kentucky). All the additions face an uphill battle to make the final 53- man roster, but they'll look to impress the coaching staff in training camp this summer.--Keith Hernandez

Baltimore Ravens executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta revealed the team's release of veteran kicker Justin Tucker in an official statement on X. Amid allegations of potential misconduct, the thirteen-year pro is out in Baltimore. The 35-year-old is currently still the league's most accurate kicker, though Kansas City's Harrison Butker is hot on his heels and could overtake him. Before 2024, Tucker was seemingly a shoo-in for best kicker in fantasy, but things took a turn with the news of allegations against him. Never falling under an 82.3% success rate in a given season, his production cratered last year -- setting career-lows in makes and attempts (22-for-30) while missing two extra-point attempts for the first time since 2019. It's unclear what the outcome will be regarding his legal issues, nor if he'll find a job with another NFL team. It's an unfortunate instance that tarnishes a fantastic career.--Alex Ciulla

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that kicker Justin Tucker has been in the team's building and has been working out. From the coaching end, Harbaugh said all kicking decisions regarding Tucker and rookie Tyler Loop will be based purely on football since the team is still waiting on the results of the league's investigation of Tucker. The 35-year-old veteran's career and tenure with Baltimore hangs in the balance this offseason due to numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. In addition to that off-the-field issue hanging over his head, Tucker hasn't been the elite kicker we're used to seeing in the last couple of seasons. The seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro made a career-low 73.3% of his 30 field-goal attempts in 17 regular-season games in 2024. Even if he sticks with the Ravens, a lengthy suspension could be coming his way in 2025.--Keith Hernandez

Washington D.C. will host the NFL draft in 2027 on the National Mall, where the Washington Monument stands, a source told The Washington Post's Mark Maske. An official announcement is expected to come Monday at the White House. The draft will be held in Pittsburgh next year in 2026. This will be the first time that Washington has hosted an NFL draft. After owner Josh Harris bought the Commanders franchise in July of 2023, the team went from 4-13 in his first year to 12-5 and in the NFC Championship game this past season under first-year general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn. Washington announced a deal on April 28 that would bring the organization back to the stadium it called home from 1961-96, but the nearly $4 million deal for a new stadium still must be approved by the D.C. council.--Keith Hernandez

Veteran free-agent kicker Matt Gay signed a one-year deal worth over $4.25 million fully guaranteed with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday, according to his agents. It's the most fully guaranteed money for a kicker on a one-year deal in NFL history. Gay can earn up to $5 million with reachable incentives in 2025 in D.C. In a corresponding move, the Commanders are releasing kicker Zane Gonzalez. In a Commanders offense that ranked fifth in the NFL in points per game (28.5), Gay should immediately be in play as a lower-end fantasy kicking option for the 2025 season. The 31-year-old booter went 31-for-37 (83.8%) on his field-goal tries in 16 games with the Indianapolis Colts last year, but he made just three of nine attempts from 50-plus yards out. He was a perfect 33-for-33 on extra points and has made 85.5% of his 193 career field-goal attempts in six years in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez

Sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz that several teams that are picking in the high 30s and 40s are calling the Cleveland Browns (No. 33 overall), Houston Texans (No. 34) and Tennessee Titans (No. 35) about potential trades to try and come up early into the second round of this year's NFL draft on Friday. Wide receiver and edge rusher are viewed as two positions as having big drop-offs in talent and a wide range of evaluations, which is why those two positions are expected to be targeted by teams early in the second round. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah thinks that Iowa State receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel and Missouri wideout Luther Burden III could come off the board early on Friday, as well as edge rushers such as Marshall's Mike Green, Boston College's Donovan Ezeiruaku and Arkansas' Landon Jackson.--Keith Hernandez
