Albert Okwuegbunam Signs With Colts
Source: Ari Meirov -- 33rd Team
Free-agent tight end Albert Okwuegbunam is signing with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. The former Denver Bronco and Philadelphia Eagle was a fourth-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft and has hauled in 54 of his 74 targets for 546 yards and four touchdowns in 30 career games. He was once viewed as a future fantasy football producer at the scarce TE spot, but it would be a surprise if he entered the fantasy football radar anytime soon.Alec Pierce In Concussion Protocol
Alec Pierce (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos with a head injury. Pierce hit the ground hard in the first half while going after a deep ball and was later ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. The 24-year-old was targeted four times before his injury but failed to come down with any of them, giving any fantasy managers that started him a donut. Ashton Dulin (ankle) was inactive for the game, so rookie Adonai Mitchell played just shy of half of the offensive snaps. Mitchell didn't take advantage of Pierce's injury, failing to catch any of his four targets and also throwing a pick-six on a trick play in the fourth quarter. Pierce's status for Week 16 against the division-rival Tennessee Titans is now firmly up in the air.Source: The Athletic - James Boyd
Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that wide receiver Matt Gay Makes Two More Field Goals In Week 15
Matt Gay knocked through both of his field goal attempts on Sunday and converted his extra point attempt in the 31-13 loss to the Broncos. The 30-year-old has now made at least two field goals in 10 of the last 11 games and has gone a perfect 23-for-23 on extra points this season. The Colts seem to move the ball just well enough to get him a couple of chances per game but they also turn the ball over so much that he doesn't have big fantasy days. Nevertheless, the sixth-year pro has been a steady source of points for the bulk of the season and should be in line for a few more successful tries next week versus the Titans. The game will be at home for the Colts so he won't have to contend with the elements either.Source: ESPN

Michael Pittman Jr. Leads Colts Receivers In Week 15 Loss
Michael Pittman Jr. led the team in targets, receptions, and yards in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Broncos. Unfortunately, with Anthony Richardson under center that hasn't amounted to much this season, as the 27-year-old caught six of his nine targets for 58 yards and no scores. Pittman also lost one of the three fumbles the Colts lost on the day, further diminishing his fantasy output. The 6-foot-4 wideout has become Richardson's preferred option in the passing attack since being renamed starter back in Week 13, but hasn't found the end zone since Week 6 and hasn't topped 100 yards receiving since Week 4. The fifth-year pro gets a more favorable matchup in Week 16 against the Titans, but with the inefficiency of the passing game, Pittman figures to be a low-end WR3 or Flex option next Sunday.Source: ESPN

Anthony Richardson Inefficient Again Through The Air, Scores Again In Week 15
Anthony Richardson was ineffective through the air yet again in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Broncos, completing 17 of 38 pass attempts for 172 yards and no touchdowns while throwing two interceptions. The 22-year-old added seven rush attempts for 46 yards and ran one in for a TD. It was his fifth rushing touchdown on the season and fourth in the last four games since being reinserted as the starter. The problem is that his completion rate stands at 47% on the season and the former first-round draft pick has an ugly 7:11 TD:INT. The second-year pro will have an easier matchup next week at home against the Titans who are middle of the pack in allowing fantasy points to quarterbacks, but he'll make for a risky play for those still left in the fantasy playoffs next week.Source: ESPN
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Alec Pierce Done For The Remainder Of Week 15
Alec Pierce (concussion) won't return to Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. The wideout wasn't involved before going down with a concussion, failing to catch any of his four targets. Fortunately, the Colts got Josh Downs (shoulder) back for this one, which will help lessen the blow. Michael Pittman Jr. could also see a few more looks from Anthony Richardson with Pierce out of commission. Pierce has been a sporadic fantasy contributor throughout the 2024-25 campaign, amassing 29 catches for 645 yards and five touchdowns heading into Week 15. But now the question remains if he'll be healthy enough to play in Week 16 versus the Titans. If not, Pittman, Downs, and Adonai Mitchell should get most of the looks on the receiving end, with Jonathan Taylor potentially getting a few more targets out of the backfield.Source: Chris Tomasson
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Mo Alie-Cox Active Against Broncos On Sunday
Mo Alie-Cox (hip) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. He had been listed as questionable after missing practice on Friday. Cox has appeared in all 13 games so far this season, catching 11 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown. Indianapolis' tight ends have no appeal in fantasy football given the committee of Cox, Kylen Granson, Drew Ogletree, and Will Mallory.Source: Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts tight end Josh Downs Active Against Broncos
Josh Downs (shoulder) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. He had been listed as questionable, but the expectation was that he'd be able to play. Downs has appeared in 10 games this year, catching 53 passes for 594 yards and four touchdowns. The 23-year-old seemed to play better when catching passes from Joe Flacco, but even with Andy Richardson under center, he's still a solid WR3/FLEX option as the fantasy playoffs get underway in most leagues.Source: Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs Likely To Play On Sunday
Josh Downs (shoulder) is anticipated to suit up for Sunday's contest versus the Denver Broncos. The wideout was battling a shoulder injury, keeping him off the field for the Week 13 meeting with the New England Patriots. Fortunately, the Colts were off in Week 14. But with Downs logging full practice sessions during the week, he's expected to be back, which is good news for fantasy managers. The 23-year-old has been productive in his 10 appearances this season, amassing 53 catches for 594 yards and four touchdowns, making him a starting fantasy option for the challenging matchup against the Broncos.Source: Adam Schefter
