No Structural Damage For Miles Mikolas
5 years agoAn MRI exam on St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (forearm) on Saturday found no structural damage in his arm. The flexor tendon issues he's feeling this spring are similar to the soreness he felt last season. Mikolas will hold off on throwing for a few days and go from there on a day-to-day basis. The 31-year-old fell off in his second year with St. Louis after returning from overseas and making the All-Star team in 2018. His career 6.7 K/9 in five seasons leaves a lot to be desired from fantasy owners, and ongoing arm issues don't make him any more attractive at the tail end of deep mixed drafts.
