He played the first 12 innings of the 13-inning game before Andrelton Simmons entered to take over at the keystone. We should know more about the severity of Madrigal's injury soon. Over 31 games on the year, the 25-year-old has slashed .222/.263/.250 with no home runs, two RBI and eight runs.
