Myles Gaskin Returns From COVID-19 List
4 years agoThe Miami Dolphins activated running back Myles Gaskin from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. Gaskin missed the last two games but should return as the team's lead back for an important Week 16 game against the Raiders on Saturday. The 23-year-old has been the Dolphins most productive back in 2020, but he's also played in just one game since Week 8. The seventh-round pick in 2019 has 121 carries on the year for 477 yards (3.9 yards per carry) and two touchdowns, adding 32 receptions for 249 yards. Rookie Salvon Ahmed stepped in last week for 23 carries, 122 yards and a touchdown, though, so the two could share the load this weekend, making this a more difficult decision for fantasy managers in their championship matchups. At worst, Gaskin would probably be an RB3/flex against a Raiders defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to the position this year, including 17 rushing touchdowns.
