Max Kepler Sitting Out Tuesday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (knee) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Miami Marlins. Kepler departed Monday's game early with soreness in his right knee, and although the injury isn't expected to land him on the injured list, he'll take the day off. Trevor Larnach is starting in right field and batting third, while Willi Castro draws into the lineup in left field. He's hitting seventh in the batting order. Kepler is off to a rough start at the plate in 2023, going 2-for-16 (.125) with a home run, RBI and a run scored in his first four games. The 30-year-old will be hoping to get his timing right at the plate once he's past his minor knee injury.
