Marlon Mack Looking For A Bigger Role
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Marlon Mack had just three carries for 15 yards in last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, but he also caught two passes for 62 yards and his first touchdown since the 2019 season with the Indianapolis Colts. With Mike Boone (ankle) on Injured Reserve and out for the final four weeks of the season, Mack might have earned a bigger share of the backfield pie alongside Latavius Murray heading into Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. That might be the case, but the 26-year-old isn't a realistic starting fantasy option this weekend, even in a good matchup against Arizona. Murray should remain the team's lead back, and the offense could be led by backup quarterback Brett Rypien with Russell Wilson (concussion) banged up.
