2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders safety Marcus Epps is the team's surefire starter at strong safety this year, while Tre'von Moehrig currently has a firm hold on the free safety spot. Rookie Chris Smith II could push Moehrig if he isn't able to bounce back from a disappointing year in 2022, but defensive coordinator Patrick Graham and the rest of the coaching staff seem to be giving Moehrig the chance to turn things around. Epps signed a two-year, $12 million deal with Vegas in March after starting in every game for the Eagles last year while recording a career-high 94 tackles in Philadelphia.
