Malik Washington Positioned for Another Decent Target Total
Malik Washington will again look to fill the void left by teammate Tyreek Hill when his team squares off with the visiting Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. Washington hauled in 4-of-5 passes in Miami's loss to the Panthers last Sunday, gaining no yards. Despite him falling second amongst the team's wideouts regarding targets, teammate Nick Westbrook-Ikhine saw seven more snaps (39) running behind wide receiver Jaylen Waddle as the WR2. Westbrook-Ikhine also did not gain any yards, nor did he see a target. While he's the more imposing red zone option, Washington should continue to see manufactured looks close to the line of scrimmage, and is a marginally more explosive athlete. He's a low-end flex asset for now.
