4 years agoThe Detroit Lions are placing cornerback Justin Coleman (hamstring) on Injured Reserve because of a hamstring strain that he suffered in the Week 1 loss to the Bears on Sunday, according to a source. The hope is that he's ready to return when he's eligible in three weeks. Coleman had one pass defensed in the season-opening loss. The good news is he'll be back this year, but the bad news is that Detroit faces the division-rival Packers in Week 2 after Aaron Rodgers went off against Minnesota in the regular season opener. Hopefully for the Lions, rookie Jeff Okudah will be able to return for that one to try and slow down Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
