Kody Clemens Walks it Off to Finish Suspended Game
Kody Clemens was the hero for the Twins in their 6-5 win over the division-rival Cleveland Guardians to finish off a suspended game from the series opener on Monday. Clemens hit a two-out, walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning at Target Field in a rain-soaked game. The 29-year-old came off the bench in this one as a pinch-hitter but finished 2-for-3 while also hitting an RBI triple in the fourth inning that broke a tie. The Twins have now won 10 straight home games and 14 of 15 overall during their torrid stretch of baseball after a slow start in 2025. It's their first 10-game home winning streak since moving to Target Field in 2010. Clemens entered Wednesday's action with a .256/.347/.535 slash line with an .882 OPS, three homers, eight RBI and seven runs in 43 at-bats as a utility player for the Twins.
