Utah Hockey Club defenseman Juuso Valimaki (knee) will be sidelined for 8-9 months after undergoing ACL surgery. Due to the lengthy recovery process, Valimaki is set to miss the start of next season. He finishes this campaign with five points (two goals, three assists) in 43 games. The Finnish blue-liner made his last appearance on Jan. 26 and was recently assigned to the minors after clearing waivers. Since making his NHL debut in 2018-19 with the Calgary Flames, Valimaki has amassed 72 points (11 goals, 61 assists) in 271 games for his career.
