5 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The Jays are having Smoak and Rowdy Tellez basically split time at this point in the season. Tellez will serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup versus lefty Bobby Poyner. Tellez has been slapping the ball lately, but could have some struggles against the left-handed starter.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
