Junior Guerra Dominant In No-Decision Against Cardinals
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra went six innings on Wednesday, giving up four hits, no runs and no walks while striking out seven in the 3-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Guerra has been quite the pleasant surprise this year after starting with Triple-A Colorado Springs in April, pitching to a 2.65 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 54 1/3 innings pitched on the season. This was Guerra's second consecutive quality start, and in those two quality starts he has not allowed a walk. He's definitely one of baseball's hotter pitchers right now and will make for a top streaming candidate on June 5 against the Cleveland Indians.
