Joshua Dobbs A Solid QB2 In First Vikings Start
1 year agoIt didn't take long for Minnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs to endear himself to his new fan base after he led the team to a comeback win in Week 9 over the Atlanta Falcons after rookie Jaren Hall suffered a concussion early in the game. Less than a week after being acquired in a trade from the Arizona Cardinals, Dobbs was forced into action with his new team and went 20-for-30 for 158 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He added seven carries for 66 yards and a third score on the ground and also lost two fumbles. The 28-year-old has outperformed expectations all year. While he doesn't have the best matchup in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints in his first start for Minnesota and is not expected to have All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson (hamstring) yet, Dobbs does give fantasy managers in superflex leagues more upside as a QB2 due to his rushing abilities.
