Josh Donaldson Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, New York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) left Wednesday's game early against the Philadelphia Phillies with right hamstring tightness. He will be re-evaluated on Thursday and should be considered day-to-day for now. The Yankees do not play on Thursday, so there's a chance that the 37-year-old veteran will return on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles. Hopefully his injury doesn't keep him out too long, as he's already off to a rough start at the plate, going 2-for-15 (.133) with a homer, RBI, one walk and six strikeouts entering Wednesday's game. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Friday to see if he has recovered enough to play.
