The New England Patriots chose not to franchise tag standout cornerback Jonathan Jones by the deadline on Tuesday, which means he'll hit the open market on March 15. However, the Patriots have interest in re-signing him. New England will have plenty of competition to retain his services after the 29-year-old had a career year in 2022 in his seventh season with the team. In 16 starts, Jones accumulated 69 tackles (56 solo), a career-high four interceptions (one returned for a TD), 11 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. He has racked up 330 tackles (262 solo), 11 interceptions, 44 passes defensed and eight forced fumbles in 101 career games (43 starts) to this point in his career.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
