6 years agoTexas Rangers pitching prospect Joe Palumbo will officially make his major league debut in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the A's on Saturday. The team's No. 7 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, is a left-hander who has a 3.38 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 11.5 K/9 in nine starts and one relief appearance at Double-A Frisco this season. This is likely to just be a spot start and Palumbo isn't expected to go long in the outing, so he makes for a streaming option to avoid in his big league debut this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
