Jets Activate Le'Veon Bell From Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe New York Jets activated running back Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) from Injured Reserve on Saturday. In corresponding moves, the team signed offensive lineman Jimmy Murray to the active roster and elevated quarterback Mike White and defensive back Lamar Jackson from the practice squad. Linebacker Alec Ogletree and wide receiver Josh Malone were also released. Bell will return to lead-back duties over veteran Frank Gore in Week 5 against the Cardinals. Even though Arizona's defense has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to the running back position, Bell will be more of an RB3/flex in his first game back since Week 1. New York's offense has been atrocious during their 0-4 start, and quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) is out this week.
