5 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jed Lowrie (knee) is in camp with a big brace on his left knee/leg. Lowrie was a big free-agent bust for the Mets in 2019, seeing just seven at-bats because of various injuries, most notably to his knee. That came after his first All-Star selection in 2018 with the A's when he hit .267/.353/.448 with a career-high 23 home runs and 99 RBI in 157 games. It's not a good sign that he's still dealing with knee issues, but it remains to be seen how much he can do in spring training or whether he'll even be ready for Opening Day. Until Lowrie gets back on the field, you'll want to avoid him in mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
