The Jacksonville Jaguars signed seventh-year defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan on Monday to replace defensive lineman Rodney Gunter, who announced his retirement on Sunday. Jernigan agreed to a deal with the Texans in the spring before the deal fell through. The 27-year-old will help the Jaguars defensive line after both Al Woods and Lerentee McCray opted out of the 2020 season amid concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yannick Ngakoue, who has yet to sign his franchise tag, remains away from the team. Jernigan spent the last three years with the Eagles and had two sacks and 10 tackles in 10 games as a rotational lineman last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
