Giants Defense Remains a Bench-Level Fantasy Unit
The New York Giants defense is a clear sit for Week 6, offering very little fantasy value against their NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. The unit has struggled, ranking 22nd in the NFL by allowing an average of 25.4 points per game and 26th by surrendering 377.2 total yards per contest, with seven points being their highest-scoring fantasy week of the season. Although the Eagles' 30th ranked offense is averaging a lowly 261.6 total yards per game, they are still managing to score 25 points a game (12th in the league) and have tallied 16 total touchdowns (7th in the NFL). New York's only hope for production lies in their pass rush, which has recorded 10 sacks this season, but the low-turnover Eagles offense makes the Giants Defense highly unlikely to return a starting-caliber fantasy score.
