Giants Commit To Daniel Jones As Starter
4 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) is the team's quarterback moving forward. Judge said he's committed to Jones for Week 16 against the Ravens, the rest of the season and heading into 2021. The No. 6 overall pick in 2019 has had his ups and downs and has dealt with injuries this year. He has thrown only eight touchdowns and has 14 total turnovers in his second season while missing two games due to injuries. Judge said that Jones has earned his respect this season and was playing his best football prior to his hamstring injury on Nov. 29 against the Bengals. Jones was moving well in practice on Wednesday and appears to be on track to play this Sunday against Baltimore. He'll be a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers in that tough matchup coming off multiple injuries.
