Garrett Wilson Held Out Of Team Drills
1 year agoNew York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson (ankle) was allowed to do individual drills at training camp practice on Wednesday, but he was held out of team work. The Jets aren't rushing their top wideout back onto the field this summer after he sustained a low-ankle sprain early in camp. The 23-year-old still has plenty of time to get back to 100 percent before the regular season starts. He's likely to sit out of the team's second preseason contest this Saturday against the Carolina Panthers. Wilson put up an impressive 83-1,103-4 line in 17 games in his rookie campaign in 2022. Given the fact that he's now upgrading with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers this year, Wilson is a shoe-in as a top-12 fantasy wideout.
