3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons are signing free-agent cornerback Casey Hayward to a two-year, $11 million contract on Thursday, according to a source. Hayward will give the Falcons some key depth in their secondary. He played last season with the Las Vegas Raiders, securing 46 tackles (39 solo), three tackles for loss, one safety, one interception and nine passes defensed in 17 starts. Hayward began his career with four seasons for the Green Bay Packers before joining the Los Angeles Chargers for five years, where he was named to two Pro Bowls. The 32-year-old is a solid cover man that has missed only two games since 2013.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
