2 years agoThere has been plenty of conversation on a potential contract extension for Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds, with the deadline viewed as first pitch on Opening Day on Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds at 4:10 pm ET. Both sides have moved and there seems to be genuine interest in getting something done. Reynolds is starting in left field and is batting second on Thursday against right-hander Hunter Greene. The 28-year-old should play center field some days, but with Reynolds moving to left field the majority of the time in 2023, it opens up a spot for Jack Suwinski in center.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
