The Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson to a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million on Wednesday, according to sources. Wilson registered 122 tackles and three interceptions for the Vikings last season in an every-down role when Anthony Barr went down with a serious injury. The Eagles were in need of some serious linebacker depth, so Wilson will be a nice addition to the middle of their defense. Wilson should have a shot to compete for a starting role in training camp after his big season in 2020. The 26-year-old has 234 tackles (18 for loss), 19 QB hits, three interceptions, eight passes defensed, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and eight sacks in 64 career games (25 starts) in four NFL seasons, all with Minnesota.--Keith HernandezRead More News
