Drew Butera Retires, Transitions To Coaching Role
Drew Butera has made the decision to retire from the MLB. He is now transitioning into the coaching portion of his career. He will be a member of the Los Angeles Angels' coaching staff. He will serve as the team's bullpen catcher. The 38-year-old spent 12 years in the majors, playing for five different teams. Over 553 career games, he slashed .196/.252/.290 with 19 home runs.
