Chicago Bears standout edge rusher Dayo Odeyingbo (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 and is now out for the season, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. It's a pretty big loss for the Bears' defense going into the second half of the 2025 season. The 26-year-old defensive end's first season in the Windy City will be cut short by injury. Odeyingbo racked up 21 tackles (nine solo), one sack, four QB hits, and a pass breakup in his eight games before suffering a torn Achilles on Sunday. The former second-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 out of Vanderbilt came to Chicago this year after recording 16.5 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, and 46 QB hits in his first four NFL seasons with the Colts.--Keith Hernandez
