Dan Hooker Suffers Second-Round Submission Loss
Dan Hooker suffered a second-round submission loss to Arman Tsarukyan in the main event of UFC Qatar on Saturday. Hooker couldn't seem to get going as Tsarukyan was mixing up his wrestling with his striking, keeping Hooker guessing. After getting taken down and punished with ground and pound, Tsarukyan sank in an arm triangle choke that forced Hooker to tap out. In 3:34 of action, Hooker landed 10 significant strikes. This was just the second time that Hooker had been submitted in the UFC. With the loss, Hooker dropped to 14-9 in the UFC.
