Cornerback Damon Arnette was taken 19th overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 but played only 13 games over two seasons before being released in November of 2021 after brandishing a weapon and threatening someone's life in a viral video. He was later cut from the Chiefs practice squad after an arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. Since then, Arnette has turned his life around, including a stint in the UFL with the Houston Roughnecks. Arnette is now with the Texans, a team loaded with cornerback talent, so his role will be far different than it was with the Raiders when he entered the league five years ago. The 28-year-old will be competing for a spot on the roster in training camp and will need to win over a new group of coaches.--Keith Hernandez
