D.J. Chark Jr., Tyler Eifert Missing From Practice
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. (ankle) and tight end Tyler Eifert (neck) were both missing from practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Chark is now in jeopardy of missing the Week 6 matchup against the Lions. If he's out this weekend, rookie Laviska Shenault Jr., Keelan Cole and Chris Conley would operate in three-receiver sets in a prime matchup against a Detroit secondary that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to pass-catchers. If Chark starts, he'll be a solid WR2 in a Jacksonville offense that has been throwing the ball often. Eifert is third on the team with 24 targets, but he's struggled to stay on the field because of injuries in his career and doesn't have more than three catches or 36 yards in a game this year. He was already coming into this one as a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE2. James O'Shaughnessy would see a bigger role if Eifert is ruled out, but he can be ignored for fantasy purposes.
