Houston Astros starting pitcher Cristian Javier (elbow) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, according to manager Joe Espada. Javier should be close to returning to the big leagues. He threw 64 pitches over the course of a 3.1 inning outing on July 31. If everything goes well on Tuesday, Javier should hopefully be able to rejoin the Astros rotation after this start. The right-hander hasn't pitched at all this season while recovering from Tommy John surgery from last year. Javier is probably worth a stash in deep leagues with his return looming.--Andy Webb
