The Dallas Cowboys informed free-agent pass-rusher Aldon Smith that they will not re-sign him after one season with the team, according to a source. Smith served an indefinite suspension from 2016 to 2019 for multiple off-field incidents and violations of the league's substance-abuse policy. The 31-year-old had five sacks and was second to DeMarcus Lawrence on the team with 33 QB pressures. Smith also added 48 tackles (five for loss) and two fumble recoveries, returning one for a touchdown. The writing was on the wall for the team to part with Smith after they re-signed defensive end Tarell Basham. Dallas also signed safety Jayron Kearse to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
