The Washington Commanders are expected to release star defensive back Landon Collins after the two sides couldn't agree on a restructured contract. Collins will hit free agency and should cash in once again after recording 81 tackles (51 solo), seven tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and three sacks in only 13 games played in 2021. The star safety signed a six-year, $84 million contract in 2019, and he was due a baseline salary of $11.5 million in 2022. The three-time Pro Bowler played in only seven games in 2020 due to an injury, and he disappointed with his play last year in coverage. But Collins is still only 28 years old and will surely find plenty of suitors on the open market looking for safety help.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
