7 months agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey demonstrated again why he's considered matchup-proof in a 42-19 rout at the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. In the marquee matchup, McCaffrey took 17 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown while tacking on three receptions on four targets for 40 yards receiving. Philadelphia came into the game allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs, but you wouldn't have known by watching McCaffrey take chunks of yardage from the Eagles. Following an anxiety-inducing first quarter, he started finding yards after the catch and on rushes, especially working the left side. There is no reason to believe that CMC won't deliver the goods next week when the 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks, as he just put up 139 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in Seattle 10 days ago on Thanksgiving night.--Brad Beltz - RotoBaller
