Christian McCaffrey Leads 49ers in Targets, Catches, and Receiving Yards in Week 4
Christian McCaffrey struggled to be efficient as a rusher in his team's Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, finishing with 17 carries for 49 yards. However, McCaffrey saved his day with his work as a receiver, hauling in six catches for 92 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. The 29-year-old has now recorded 560 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 100 total touches through four games. McCaffrey has not had much success on the ground (3.3 yards per carry), but it won't matter as long as he keeps seeing such a high volume of targets in the passing game. If McCaffrey's health continues to hold up under this type of per-game workload, he could be the number one player in fantasy this season.
