Chris Godwin, LeSean McCoy Ruled Out For Thursday Night
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Justin Watson (shoulder) and running back LeSean McCoy (ankle) have been ruled out for the Thursday night game against the Bears. Godwin didn't play in the Week 4 win over the Chargers and wasn't ready to go on a short week. The Bears have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this year, but No. 1 wideout Mike Evans remains a must-start in fantasy, especially with Godwin missing another contest. Scotty Miller had five catches (seven targets) for 83 yards and his first touchdown of the year last week, so he'll be in play as a deep league flex. With McCoy out and Leonard Fournette unlikely to play again, it'll once again be Ronald Jones II and Ke'Shawn Vaughn sharing backfield duties. Jones will be in play as an RB2, while Vaughn has some flex appeal in deep PPR leagues.
