Carlos Rodon Shut Down For A Few Days
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back, forearm) will have another CT scan on Thursday and will not throw for a few days, according to manager Aaron Boone. The skipper said the team still thinks Rodon's back injury is a minor issue. The Yankees are playing it very safe with their big offseason acquisition, and the 30-year-old southpaw definitely won't make his Yankees debut now until sometime in May or even early June. If everything goes well with Rodon's CT scan, he should start facing live hitters and will then need to go on a minor-league rehab assignment. Rodon was an All-Star each of the last two years with the San Francisco Giants and has clear ace potential for fantasy managers when he returns. Stay patient and keep him stashed everywhere.
