Carlos Rodon Set For Another Bullpen Session
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon's (forearm) next step will be a two-up bullpen with hitters possibly standing in the box for the second inning but not swinging, according to manager Aaron Boone. Rodon continues to move forward after suffering a left forearm strain in spring training. The 30-year-old southpaw still has a ways to go before he's ready to make his 2023 debut for the Yanks, though, so fantasy managers should still be expecting him to miss around a month of action. If all goes well and he doesn't have any setbacks, there's a chance that he could debut at the end of April. Rodon is a fantasy ace when healthy and has been an All-Star the last two seasons, so he must remain stashed in an injured list spot in all fantasy leagues.
