2 years agoThe Denver Broncos signed free-agent tight end Tommy Hudson to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Hudson spent time with the Tennessee Titans each of the last three years and had three catches for 31 yards in 2021. He was among five veterans who tried out during the team's rookie minicamp a few weeks ago. The 26-year-old will strictly be competing for a roster spot during training camp this summer and will probably be a long shot to make the roster. Denver also let go of running back Jacques Patrick on Wednesday to make room for Hudson. Patrick last played in the XFL this spring and had 115 carries for 443 yards for the San Antonio Brahmas.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
