Broncos Release Josh Watson
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos released linebacker Josh Watson on Tuesday, according to a source. Watson spent most of last season on the active roster, but he's played in just 17 games (zero starts) the last two seasons after going undrafted out of Colorado State. The 25-year-old has just seven solo tackles in his two seasons in the NFL and will look to latch on with another team with the regular season quickly approaching. After missing all of last season with an ankle injury, star linebacker Von Miller appears healthy and is expected to play in the final preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams this Saturday. Watson's release could be another sign that Denver is fully confident in Miller's health with Week 1 right around the corner.
