Bobby Dalbec Designated For Assignment
Bobby Dalbec has been designated for assignment. Dalbec inked a minor-league contract with the White Sox in January but was only able to appear in seven games. During this brief stint with the White Sox,, Dalbec held a modest .222/.333/.278 slash line with one double and a 6:3 K:BB. Under the hood, Dalbec generated a modest .258 xwOBA but was able to draw walks at an impressive 14.3 percent rate. Last season, Dalbec held a .133/.217/.193 slash line across 37 games with the Boston Red Sox. Fantasy managers should expect Dalbec to report to Triple-A Charlotte if he goes unclaimed on waivers. With Dalbec on waivers, Josh Rojas should have a full-time role in the infield going forward.
