Bills Sign Jacob Hollister Friday
4 years agoThe Buffalo Bills signed former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister to an undisclosed one-year deal on Friday, according to a source. Hollister becomes another weapon for quarterback Josh Allen, who played with Hollister in college at Wyoming. The 27-year-old was buried behind Will Dissly and veteran Greg Olsen on Seattle's tight end depth chart, and he contributed 25 catches for 209 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games (five starts). He was more productive in 2019 with a career-high 41 receptions on 59 targets for 349 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games (three starts). Hollister spent his first two seasons with the Patriots, but he had just eight receptions in his time there. He will have a chance to compete for playing time with Dawson Knox in 2021, and his familiarity with Allen could prove useful.
